I left a corporate career on Wall Street to forge ahead with a dream of opening Fabulous Freddys in my hometown of New York City.
When I first got started, I didn’t have much mentorship and guidance. And I
certainly didn’t have it from anyone who looked like me.
After becoming the go-to expert for all things beauty supply I realized there
were many other women just like me who could dominate the beauty supply
industry if they had the tools, resources, and confidence to open their own store
just like I did.

I didn’t just want us to reinvent the wheel, I want us to own the wheel.
I thought, how about I take my 10+ years experience of owning a retail store and through 2 economic recessions, to help other black women launch their own beauty supply stores.
From beauty distribution, to inventory, I wanted to be the Beauty Store Supply Visionary to give the step by step blueprint any new business owner could follow to get from idea to launch.
